Ingredients

\2 chicken breast, diced into bite sized cubes
\3 tablespoons of soy sauce
\2 tablespoons of brown sugar
\2 cloves of garlic, crushed
\1 teaspoon of ginger, fresh, grated
\jasmine rice
\spring onions
\sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, garlic and ginger into a bowl and mix to combine. Add the chicken, season with salt & pepper and toss to coat.
  2. Add a splash of oil to a large fry pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken on both sides for a minute until golden – don't worry about cooking it completely as it will finish cooking in the sauce.
  3. Add the remaining soy sauce and brown sugar to the pan and simmer for a few minutes, stirring until the sauce has reduced and thickened - this will take around 7 minutes. Serve immediately.
  4. Serve with: Steamed jasmine rice, sliced spring onions and sesame seeds.
